Experiences such as this make it apparent why Sears is closing stores left and right. Shameful to say the least.
Like many I have had many horrible experiences at sears. I am not sure why I returned many times. My family bought a Toaster oven from sears. we place the insurance on it. When something went wrong with the toaster we went to sears for a replacement as the insurance promise. we were told that the system is not showing that we purchase insurance with the toaster. we neglected to come with the proof of the insurance. When we tried to explain how the situation was unacceptable we were asked to leave the store as we were making a scene. I guess when they gave us the news we should have said "Oh, Okay". So we went home and bought the proof of purchase that had disappeared from their system. They did not even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. Even with that they refused to honor what the receipt says.
I love the prices here i come all the way from fenway to shop here i love getting nice deals here ...I love this place.
That should have been where i drew the line. Well i didn't, (stupid mistake)so i went back and I bought a pair of Dockers slacks for my husband. Since I Don't have a sears location close to my house i waited a little bit to return the item/exchange the item. When they did not have the item in the store i decided to return it. I was told that sears has a 30 day policy and that I would not be receiving a refund nor store credit. When I asked the "Manager" if Shopping at sears was a huge risk and waste of Money she answered "yes it is" . I guest that explains why many sears stores are closing. People shop elsewhere! unless you are a Land's End shopper. Those don't fall under the "policy". The sad part about this situation is how this manager happily gave me a phone number to call the "policy makers" who repeated the same thing to me. They didn't care about what was going on. They were happy to say its too bad and yes you lost your money. Shop at sears at your own risk.
There was a huge gross dump in the toilet in the bathroom. Lord and Taylor has better bathrooms
I️ went in to purchase a couple of hand tools. I️ walked in from the parking lot, through half the store, then took the escalator down to hardware. I️ was in hardware for 15 minutes searching for the tools that I️ wanted. I️ eventually found them, then had to walk back upstairs and search for an additional 5 minutes to find an associate to ring me out. The associate who rang me out was the first one I️ saw in the entire time I️ was in the store.
Don't shop at here or any other Sears. Go to Macys! Return Policy sucks.
