I'm so surprised the Braintree Police helped you? The make officer yelled at me and told me that he refuses to do a report because my dog is "Just Property" and to go to Quincy court house & refused to file a report.... Winston was babysat for one night and never returned, it's been four weeks. Not only was this officer rude and unkind putting me into complete tears he refused to file a report even after my initial phone call was suggested by another officer to come down and place a report. Braintree Police. LT.Smith stated Winston was Property and refused to take police report well screaming at me while a female police officer laughed. Since Winston is being labeled as "Property ONLY", Winston is Larceny or a Felony but LT. SMITH chose not to take a report by yelling at me that my dog is nothing then property.

Police Officers are very helpful

Friendly walk in service for assistance in questions regarding HELP in any matter at hand and answered calls addressed asap! There's more being offered .....stop by and visit and give kind words of encouragement, care, support and love to our men and woman in blue

I can not speak in the entirety for this entire police department. I was returning from a ham radio club meeting held at the Watson building on 85 Quincy. I had completed a 5 mile walk. It was very dangerous attempting to cross the intersection where Union Street ends and the 'on ramp' to North route 3. A driver in a gold Volvo was waving me to walk in front of the moving car while in motion. I did not feel safe and felt that I was in danger. None of the cars driving around this rotary would stop for me. It should not be such an ordeal for a pedestrian to safely cross the street. The driver blurted out an obscenity at me while I was crossing the street. I took down the license plate. I then called 911. The dispatcher asked me if I wanted a police car to come on to the scene. I declined the offer. I proceeded to walk back to police station on Union Street, only a 5 minute walk. The 'officer' or 'office clerk' on duty was very dismissive toward me. Actually the state law does state that drivers must stop while pedestrians are crossing the street. The office clerk will be reported to the chief of police. If I do not get anywhere, with the chief of police there, I will be in contact with the chain of command up to governor of this state and then President Obama. The clerk even insisted that a cop will come out for a noise disturbance. Actually that is only an ordinance *not* the law. Drivers who threaten pedestrians are guilty of endangerment. There is too much preferential treatment taking place by the police and by the courts. The clerk was rude toward me for some odd reason. The clerk was willfully ignorant of the law. It occurred to me that all law enforcement officers really do actually need to earn a law degree, as in a J.D. --Juris Doctorate. They need to have much more time to grow up and obtain good judgement and experience. The driver's license plate 2ER 971. Volvo sedan. I know Michael Peterson in Gothenburg Sweden, who works at Volvo. I have toured the Volvo manufacturing plant. That woman is such a loser.
