This Avis is located outside of Boston but is far easier to do a pick up and drop off if you are within 10 miles. The gentleman who greeted me was the same gentleman who I dropped the car off with. Both the pick up and drop of were quite easy. He was very nice, went through all of the typical questions and ensured that I was satisfied with the rental before I left. I have rented from many Avis facilities and this is by far the easiest. This is not a typical Avis office but it makes it all that better. Smaller is better in this case.
Good price for one-way car rentals in the South Shore/outer Boston region. No parking allowed on-site, you will need a ride in.
Was told one price and was charged another! Tried to blame the agency where i returned the car..Had to dispute the overages with my credit card company. Still ended up costing me more than it should have. Very unprofessional!
I feel terrible because I can't remember the rental agent I dealt with, but he was great! After a HORRIBLE experience with car rental agencies at the airport, I ended up renting from this location, and was treated with superb customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this car rental agency and location-and I will be sure to use them in the future if needed.
We were misinformed about the administrative fee for the tolls. Customer care was no help either. Would recommend only as the last option.
