Ordered takeout from the hotel that shares a building with legal seafoods. We were told 45 minutes when the order was placed at 8pm. Some friends placed an order 5 minutes earlier and were told the same thing. We were called after an hour saying it was about ready, only to find we had to wait another half an hour once arriving at the restaurant to pickup. Our friend's order was done almost 45 minutes before ours was. When we were finally given our food all of it was lukewarm to cold at best. The order was for some basic fried seafood and two pizzas, nothing fancy or complicated. The only thing that was warm were the rolls.
While the food was decent the experience completely ruined it. an hour and a half wait for cold food that wasn't done when we were called is unacceptable.
I love what they've done with the design and decorations. Cozy lighting with amole space between tables, provides and opportunity for guests to enjoy the dining experience. There is also outdoor seating. The food was excellent. We had oysters, crab cakes and clam chowder. Everything tasted great as though they've been freshly caught. Lovely decor and great food made for an amazing experience, thanks legal seafood.
So me and my wife took my parents to Legals for dinner. It was awesome. Service was great. The meal came out a bit slow (very busy) but we still enjoyed it. The manager was apologetic about the slow service (we never complained). She deducted the drinks and the appetizers off the bill. WOW!! As always, every time we visit from SC, we will DEFINITELY go to Legal Seafood.

I have a shellfish allergy, and this place is, bar none, the most accommodating for anyone with a shellfish allergy.
My bartender was amazing, the best I've ever encountered, and the manager was also great.
The food was excellent! The service was too! Love totally fresh seafood! A bit pricey but well worth it!
